Strategic Communications

Corporate Reputation

What We Do

The Corporate Reputation team develops and executes communications strategies for clients to elevate their corporate brand, strengthen stakeholder relationships and/or manage reputational challenges. Clients look to our team for thoughtful and strategic advice, recommendations on how to promote their organization and elevate their corporate values, all while mitigating reputational risks.

Our team works on a multitude of projects focused on protecting and promoting clients’ reputations and navigating current or anticipated challenges. Although each of our engagements takes on a unique shape, areas where we specialize include helping clients build and maintain media relations strategies, building and executing successful executive thought leadership programs, developing and executing environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategies, and communicating significant organizational changes and updates (e.g., executive transitions, bankruptcy/restructurings, financial reporting, etc.). We also provide media and presentation trainings for executives ahead of interviews, major announcements and/or other events.

Corporate Reputation team members have the opportunity to work across various sectors, and public and private companies, alongside account teams with members from across the FTI network. We have teams that specialize in healthcare and financial services, as well as general practitioners that work across an array of industries including retail, industrials, energy and technology.

Some examples of previous client work include:

  • Supporting a COVID-19 vaccine developer’s communications surrounding global vaccine rollout and assisting in thought leadership opportunities for key executives
  • Advising a global apparel retailer around global issues including union strikes, store closures and supply chain challenges
  • Assisting Fortune 500 companies for their quarterly earnings announcements and developing their financial narratives
  • Aiding a financial services firm in the development, drafting and refinement of its inaugural sustainability report
