What We Do

The Corporate Reputation team is focused on developing and executing communications strategies for clients who are interested in elevating their corporate brand, strengthening stakeholder relationships and/or are navigating reputational challenges. Our clients look to our Corporate Reputation team to provide thoughtful and strategic advice, provide recommendations on how to promote the organization and elevate corporate values all while mitigating any risk.

Our team work on a multitude of projects focused on protecting client reputation and navigating current or anticipated challenges. Although there is no real “set” of projects we work on, we frequently help clients build and maintain media relations, build and execute successful thought leadership and ESG programs and communicate significant organizational changes and updates (e.g. executive transitions, bankruptcy/restructurings, financial reporting, etc.). We also provide media and presentation trainings for our clients ahead of major announcements and opportunities. Team members have the opportunity to work across the client spectrum alongside custom-assembled account teams with members from across the FTI network.

Example Projects:

  • Communications Strategy: Assist in developing comprehensive communications strategy for client; leverage data, media relationships and crisis planning to develop a focused list of recommendations and timeline for execution.
  • Media Research/Audit: Audit organization’s media presence and external activity over a certain timeframe and summarize findings, identify gaps, potential opportunities, etc.
  • Stakeholder Materials: Draft client materials, including press releases, fact sheets, question-and-answer documents, letters and executive scripts.
  • Media Clips: Summarize media, investment community and social activity and mentions for a client, industry, specific topic, etc.
  • New Business Research: Research potential new clients and support new client pursuits alongside senior leaders.
